Epistle to the Romans

12 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of GOD’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to GOD—this is your true and proper worship. 2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what GOD’s will is—HIS good, pleasing and perfect will (Romans 12: 1-2 NIV).

17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone. 19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for GOD’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,”[d] says the LORD. 20 On the contrary:

“If your enemy is hungry, feed him;
    if he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”[e]

21 Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good (Romans 12: 17-21 NIV).

My Prayer Today:

Father, I want Romans 12: 1-2, 17-21 NIV to be the lamp that lights the pathway of my Christian walk of faith with YOU. I want my mind to be continually renewed, and my thinking continously reworked in JESUS mighty name!

Note:

For those of us who are diligently seeking to know the will of GOD for our lives, trying hard to figure out what our purpose in GOD is, then we must do two (2) things:

a) Offer our bodies as a living sacrifice – holy and pleasing to GOD;

b)  Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing  of your mind. How do you do this you may ask? By studying the word. By staying in HIS presence.

For the Bible says:

“Ask and it will be given to you;

Seek and you will find;

Knock and the door will be opened to you.

For everyone who asks receives; and the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened (Matthew 7: 7-8 NIV).

Let us Ask GOD, Seek GOD, Knock on GOD’s door as we strive to fulfill GOD’s counsel of a & b.
